Firewall Doc Updated, SIP Supplementary Service Doc Posted

Two notable documentation postings today:

Some re-arranging, corrections and enhancements to the table of ports in this document.

SIP SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICES QUICK-START GUIDE

An application guide to using and configuring supplementary services on an analog Tenor. Hold, Transfer and Call Waiting over SIP features are discussed in this document.

P103-08-00 General Availability Code Posted

Quintum is pleased to announce the release of P103-08-00. This is the first GA release with the new P103 feature set.

This has been released for both Gateway and Call Relay product lines.

Windows Server 2003 App Note

An application note describing how to install Configuration Manager on Windows Server 2003 is posted on the Management Applications page at:

This only applies to Windows 2003, no other version of Windows is affected.

Quintum Support Web Site Update - Major changes

We published several major changes to the Quintum Support Website structure and updated many documents this evening.

Highlights:

- Several application notes were updated with Second Generation configuration details and other improvements.

- The SNMP documentation was revamped to reflect the new SNMP objects in P102-11-00.

- Quintum software updates and release notes no longer require an ID and password to access.

- Also, as a result of this, Release Notes are now searched and indexed in the Web site search engine (accessible from the bottom of many of the site's pages).

We hope you find these enhancements useful.

GA code P101-16-00 posted for Call Relay SP (SIP Support)

GA Code, P101-16-00 for Call Relay SP has been released and posted for the Call Relay SP today. This is the first release for Call Relay SP that suppoorts SIP.

GA code P1-6-0 & P2-6-0 posted for CMS and Call Relay SP

GA Code, P1-6-0 and P2-6-0 (for H.323 only) has been released and posted for the CMS and Call Relay SP systems today.

This is a very stable build, based on heavily field-tested code, for those that do not need SIP support in their CMS or Call Relay SP, and/or have some Series 1 cards in their CMS.

This is intended to be the last GA code for this code base. There may be Patch releases based on this code in the future if necessary. Most further development will be on the P101 or later codebase with SIP support.
